I received my new Stinger shaft with the hard leather tip on Saturday morning. All I can say is "WOW!". I put the new shaft on my old Stinger and I was destroying the rack on my breaks. My older Stinger shaft with the phenolic tip is going to stay with the mini jump cue. What a combo! I did not see any difference between the phenolic tip and the leather tip. I played a tournament Saturday afternoon, and every time I broke, my opponent's hole shrunk. Jumped a credit cards width away over a ball with it, and not using a dart stroke. Well worth the money. I took 3rd place. What does the SS stand for on the shaft? You will probably get some business from the locals here. Very impressed.
